There are problems with Joint Tenancy, but unfortunately that is the only estate plan some people have.  Joint Tenancy is easy, but the potential for problems means it is a very poor estate plan in most cases.  Unless you want your estate plan to disinherit your children, expose property to creditors and tax liability, and cause family feuding and other problems, watch this video for a few minutes and you will see there are better options than Joint Tenancy.
